"On leaving the U.K. in November when the days are short and the weather cold it is very pleasant to arrive in Bali Hai to pleasant weather and 12 hour days.

"The chalet style accommodation looking over the sea is comfortable and most days there is a sea breeze flowing through the room so I never need to turn the aircon on.

"The beach is pleasant to walk along when tidal conditions allow and there is a large swimming pool which I particularly like to use at sunrise floating on my back watching the sun's rays hitting the palm trees and thinking to myself 'it's freezing back home'.
